Las Vegas Imperial Palace

Can anyone tell me about this hotel? Would you recommend it for a 2-3 night stay? Would their restaurants serve good food, or should we venture out to others? Thanks.

It is the cheapest hotel in the center of the strip. The rooms are nothing to write home about. The food is mediocre.
If you looking for a great location, its great. A lot of people that stay there are very rude! Any other hotel would be better on the strip if your looking for a good room and good food. If you are looking for cost, that's the best place to stay.

I would NOT say IP is even OK.
This is one of the dumpiest old hotels left on the strip.
It's still in business only because of its location.

This place should be avoided unless your ONLY time in the hotel will be to use the toilet and sleep.

It's great for a place to crash but if your looking for a "hotel experience (i.e. pool, restaurants, etc) then it's not for you. Try Harrah's right next door if you like that location at a good price. I wouldn't pay more than $39 weekday for IP if your not playing, if playing, i'd expect the room comped.

We've always had good luck at the IP's blackjack tables!

Still , I would not stay there unless I was just looking for a place to crash. You have plenty of excellent eateries within a few blocks' walk.
