Las Vegas hotels-Use facilities after checkout?

I was wondering if the Las Vegas strip hotels allow you to use the pool and other facilities after checkout, like most hotels do. Our flight home doesn't leave until evening, and if it were a nice day we were hoping to stay around the pool for awhile. Thanks.

Since I fly the redeye out of Vegas, I always reserve my hotel room for an extra day. I enjoy being able to order room service, shower, and relax in my room before my 12AM flight home.

"Other facilities"...

They will gladly allow you to gamble to your hearts content as well as use the restrooms, etc.

I would imagine that the pool wouldn't be a problem, certainly nothing that a Andrew Jackson wouldn't solve for you. Gotta remember your environment!

Yes. All the hotels I've been at in Vegas will allow you to use the pools. They just tell you to drop your room key in the drop box at the end of the day.

You can request a late check out on the day that you are leaving. The front desk will let you know how late you can stay without penalty. Most hotels have a room where you can store your luggage after check out until you leave. It always helps if you're a member of the hotels guest program.

I've had hotels allow this, and not allow it. It really seems to depend on how busy they are.

At the Flamingo a few weeks ago, we used the pool after check-out, but no one was checking room keys. In October, they were checking keys for everyone coming in (although I don't suppose they would know if you checked out and kept your key!).
