Las Vegas Hotel Pools

Going to Vegas at the beginning of April. Would anyone know when the pools open?

Why wouldn't they be open. It gets hot in Vegas in April. I was there one April and it was 96.

Mrs Kal just got back from a few daze in Vegas and stayed at the Monte Carlo and their pool had just re-opened.

Since one of her sisters is from the frozen tundra of eastern Oregon she NEEDED a pool and some sunshine and she got both!

Returned from Las Vegas last week. The new shark pool at the Golden Nugget downtown is open and fabulous. Worth a trip to the Nugget to see the enclosed slide that you take from above the pool through the shark tank! What at blast! Plust they have added some game tables around the pool for those who enjoy the sun while they play cards!

Although the two sites given in the other posts have useful info, many of the pools in LV do NOT open before Memorial Day. Just because the temps get high SOMETIMES before May or June, they don't always and many of the pools are closed until the summer season opens, regardless of the temps. Also - even though the website about the Aladdin pool indicates it IS open - they are in the middle of a huge project to reinvent themselves as Planet Hollywood and the pool may not be open yet. If the pool is a huge factor for you call the hotel(s) you're interested in to be sure - that's the only way you'll know for sure.

I was in Vegas last week. The pools at Caesars Palace were open. But Caesars and Bellagio have heated pools to be open year round. Would be best to call where your staying to find out for sure.

this might be a stupid question, however I thought I would ask it either way.....do you have to stay at the hotels to have access to the pool or can you buy a day pass?? I know the paradise island in bahamas lets you enjoy the resort for a fee...

As far as I know you must be a registered guest - or with a registered guest - to use the pools at the hotels in Las Vegas, especially the ones with the best pools. Most - if not all- of them require you to show your room key to be admitted to the pool area. I've lived here for nearly 13 years and have never heard of day passes here. In fact we had called around a couple of years ago asking if any had such things and was told resoundingly - no.
