We just returned from a week in Las Vegas, staying the last three nights at the Wynn. I couldn't agree more with the noise problem. We started on the 31st floor facing the strip. We heard the thumpa-thumpa-thumpa so loud that the fan couldn't even cover it. We complained the next morning and were told that nobody else has complained and they didn't know what the big deal was. After waiting all day, until 5pm for a room change, I finally called the front desk and was told that my account had been "messaged" at 4 with a new room. My husband called the desk again after realizing that the "new" room was only two floors up on the same side, above the same club. Finally, after my husband had a lenghty discussion with the manager, we moved to the 59th floor, facing the golf course. It was not far enough away, we heard the noise again all night from the club on the back side of the hotel. Luckily, the fan noise drowned out most of it. We made it through the last two nights and had to get up at 4am to catch a flight home. We didn't realize that the clubs, all of them, close at 4 so the taxi stand line had about 200 very intoxicated young people in it. When I approached the first valet, telling him that we had to catch a plane, he just pointed to the line of people and said, "The line is over there. You can get a town car if you want to for $65. The line isn't as long for those." I approached the town car valet, who looked at us and immediately took us to the front of the taxi line. Thank goodness because we would have missed our flight otherwise.
Bottom Line: This hotel should not be rated a 5 star because it doesn't care about the guests, just the nightclub attendees. I will NEVER stay there again!

I was going to stay there during my visit. But cancelled because I decided to stay in Aria!
Aria was nice and quiet. There are only 2 complaints I have (1) because of the design of the room the ceiling to floor window that jets out of the ceiling, their curtains did not keep the day light out in the morning. (2) Their room was a tad small.
