Las Vegas for a night

My family of four is heading to Zion this June but stopping in Vegas for the night after 7.5 hours of driving from our home. We would like suggestions for an inexpensive, clean, NOT SEEDY place to sleep. We would prefer to stay away from the strip since we're just stopping to rest for the night. Should we look for something right off I15 or by the airport or Henderson? We typically stay in 4 star hotels but don't want to spend big dollars when we won't get to enjoy any hotel amenities. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

There are several nice new hotels off of the Russell Road exit off I15 - a Fairfield Inn, Courtyard, Residence Inn and Holiday Inn Express. The Fairfield Inn and Holiday Inn Express have a free continental breakfast. I have stayed at both and think they are just what you are looking for.

Sounds like you don't want a hotel casino property. The previous poster listed some good ones. Also, if it's a Sunday - Thursday night, it will be cheaper for you.

I would stay at the Holiday Inn Express. I've always been impressed with all of the ones that I've stayed at.

Thanks for your help! I looked at them all and based on your help and reviews from Tripadvisor, Holiday Inn Express it is!
