Las Vegas best value rooms?

I will be in Vegas in June. Some of the hotels seem to double their prices for a Saturday night. Any hints on how to save. We would like to stay mid strip. thanks,

Try Priceline or other internet sites. FYI - Mid-week is the when the best deals are available.

Did you check the prices at either Bally's or the Flamingo. They generally are good values in the mid strip area. You also might want to look into Harrahs as well.

www.cheapovegas.com is a helpful site to research hotels

There no way to dodge the weekend prices. It's simple supply and demand and people from southern CA come flooding in on Friday evening. All you can do is stay at a cheaper hotel but you sorta get what you pay for. I consider Barbary Coast to generally be a good value as long as you don't want a pool. I find the best prices to be through the individual hotel websites. The only value to regularly appear through Priceline is Venetian last minute (<2weeks adv) for $79/nt but I doubt that's for weekends.

Hi there. Be advised that many properties require a 2 night min. on the weekends. Prices are indeed higher Fri and Sat, but drop from Sun. thru. Thurs. Try Imperial Palace, Monte Carlo on the strip, off strip but cheaper and close by is the Palace Staion on Sahara. We stay there often, it's nice, close to everything and rooms are about $59.00 to $79.00 even on the weekend sometimes. Prices in Vegas go up depending on whether there are events such as boxing, or a convention going on. We live 125 miles north in Utah, and go to Vegas about every 6 weeks, and have stayed at several of the best hotels, as well as the mid priced such as Palace Station or The Orleans on Tropicana. Another good choice. Less pricey and right around the corner from the Strip. Hope this helps.

If you want mid strip for value (low price and best rooms) my vote is for Bally's. Their rooms are newly renovated and aren't the bellagio but the decor is pretty nice, clean and big. I would try the Flamingo next door before checking out the Imperial. I personally would never stay at the Imperial.
