Las Vegas

We are possibly planning a vacation to Las Vegas the end of June till right after the 4th of July. I understand Vegas is pretty hot then..... is it unbearable?

Yes. It is unbearable. Even though 1.5 million people live in Las Vegas all summer and hundreds of thousands of tourists visit during the summer, none of them go outside. Only in and out of their cars inside air conditioned garages. No one golfs. No one jogs. The sidewalks are empty.

(Of course it's hot. No it's not unbearable. People live, work and exercise outdoors in LV all summer, just like they do in Phoenix and El Paso and Palm Springs).

I'd say it's very uncomfortable to be doing anything outside between noon and 6 PM. Other than that, bearable.

It will be about 110 or so...we went and were just fine...I wouldn't play golf or tennis but the sidewalks will not be empty and as already said, the mornings and evenings are nice for walking. Do you like to use a pool?
