Large Vegas suite for a Sat nite party?

hi all. I'm looking for a large strip hotel suite for a Sat nite party in May. I plan to have about 20 folks. Does anyone know of any strip view suites in Vegas that won't break the bank? Something in the $300-400 range per night. I've heard names like Aladdin, Rio, Treasure Island, but no price averages. I have attended a party at a very large Venetian suite once and was mighty impressed! But that suite was about $700/night. Yikes! thanks in advance

Aladdin's typically start at $600. Mirage might be your best bet as they offer 1 bedroom hospitality suites over the volcano for around $400. Check their website mirage.com to see if it's available on your date.

Check MGM. You can look online at the Wedding Chapel info link, and I think they have the room info there. They have lots of big suites. The Terrace Suite is two stories with a huge patio for parties. We were thinking of having our reception up there but it turned out to be too small.

Rio..not a strip hotel

Here's a tip: If you call these hotels tell them you're thinking of having your wedding reception in a suite with 20 people. That's the easiest way to get them to talk to you.

I just ran over to the mgm website. You can find info on the larger suites under the regular "Accommodations" link.

good luck!

Saturday nights are the most expensive night of the week in LV (along with Fri).
Strip view suites which will hold 20 people aren't going to be in the $300-400 range unless you're willing to get connecting (non-suite) rooms at someplace pretty mediocre.
It's also important which weekend you're referring to as big convention weekends are more expensive than others.

In the past, some of the major strip hotels had a no Saturday check-in. I'm not sure if it's true, but if it is, you can't just get a room for one night on Saturday night.
