Girls Weekend in Vegas
Need help re booking a suite. We have 4-5 for sure and possibly a couple of more gals (we're all 45-52) for a trip in March for either 2 or 3 nights.
We think we'll want to be on the strip (no car) and we're thinking about getting a suite for all of us. Any tips or suggestions? I was told the Venetian has great suites, but we'd like to evaluate several.
We're all hoping that by getting a suite we can stay in a nicer place for a reasonable cost to each once we divide the cost.
All suggestions are welcome. Thanks
Kristine

You're kidding, right?
Up to 7 women in a single room with one bathroom? LOL!!
The suites at Venetian are 700 sq ft and I've stayed with 3 in the room before. It felt slightly crowded but OK.
The bathroom would be a nightmare with 4 or more.
A warning: March is a big month for conventions and the NCAA basketball tourney. The place sells out well in advance on the big weekends.
We've looked into large suites in the past. The biggest we've found (for which online rates can be obtained) is at Aladdin. The Panorama Suites there have up to 2 bedrooms and baths and are around 1600 sq ft.
It would be far easier and more economical to get adjoining standard rooms but I haven't ever been able to find a hotel willing to guarantee adjoining rooms. They just won't do it in advance, and odds are at check-in they'll say they can't do it if the hotel's heavily booked.

2 bedroom suites are few & far between, especially on the strip. It's usually much less expensive to get two connecting rooms.
If you're looking for something reasonable, try lvhilton.com, not on the strip but the new monorail will be running at that time. ON the strip, in a great location, flamingolv.com often has decent rates & connecting rooms.
March is full of conventions when room rates are jacked up, so you may have to play with your dates. Also, specials don't usually pop up until about 2 months in advance so you'll want to book something that's cancellable in case the rates go down.

We did a Girls trip that stopped in
Vegas for a couple of nights....I think we were a total of 7. The previous posters are absolutely right....two bathrooms are a must. Mandalay bay has nice roomy adjoining rooms you can request and often has specials that crop up, as someone said, a bit closer to your dates. We felt as if we had a suite with the door open between the rooms---I think it cost us about $25-$30/night/person.
Mandalay Bay is beautiful---it worked so well for us, I no longer care to stay anywhere else in Vegas. Mamma Mia has been the showing playing there also, which is kind of fun.....not sure how long the run is.
Good luck.
