HI. Has anyone else heard about road closures in and around Lake Quinault. There is an alert on the National Park website but it is originally dated in April. Just wondering if the following is still the case and if so, does it affect going to Lake Quinault Lodge. We are planning on being there the 15-17 of September.

"Effectively immediately, the North Shore Quinault Road is closed to vehicle traffic at milepost 14.5, just north of the Quinault River Bridge. The road at this location incurred damage during a storm in November of 2021."

I would call the lodge, they should be familiar with road conditions.

It's still closed at MP 14.5 and probably will be for the foreseeable future as the bridge over the Quinault River (right at the top of the loop) needs replacing. You can use the North Shore road by backtracking to 101 and looping around the bottom of the lake.

Thank you. I did try to call the Lodge but was put on hold forever.... I am glad the closure is not affecting access to the Lodge. Thanks for the quick reply.
