Lake Powell/antelope canyon
I am staying at Waheap Lodge on Lake Powell and have 2 tours booked. 1/2 day rainbow bridge tour and 1/2 day colorado float. Both these tours are for AM. I chose AM thinking it would be cooler. Did I make a good choice.
I would also like to see Antelope Canyon. Any advice on which tour to take or which time of day?
Any other suggestions on what to do or see or where to eat.
Are there any fun type places to eat?
We will be coming in from Monument Valley and leaving to go to Bryce. Any suggestions for things on the way Thanks

The half-day float tour down the Colorado from Lake Powell is worth doing.
As far as weather goes, you don't say exactly when you're going, so giving you advice is iffy. We did it in April: When the raft was in the sun, we were in shirtsleeves; in the shade, we put on jackets.

On the way from Monument Valley to Lake Powell you pass by the Navajo National Monument. It is worth a brief visit unless you are into serious hiking. There are two such hikes offered. Information can be gotten at the Visitor's Center. Check to see if tours of the Glen Canyon Dam are being offered.

If you enter Antelope Canyon, be VERY careful of the weather in the area. A few years back, 11 hikers were killed by a flash flood there. Rain falling miles away can suddenly rush down the canyon, destroying everything in its path. The water moves with lightning speed.
