Laguna Niguel for Romantic Getaway?

Hello. My husband I have Ritz points that can be used at any Ritz - we were thinking about possibly a "lay on the beach with drinks" hotel kinda spot but are also thinking about Laguna. In the past, we stayed at the Phoenician and loved it - we really like a nice pool and amazing service and food. We possibly might would venture into Laguna Beach area for a restaurant or something - would that be worth it? Why should we stay here?

It's a gorgeous resort in a wonderful location. A great romantic getaway.

Thanks so much. Do you know if there are chairs set up where you can lay on the beach? Is there another resort in Laguna Beach that does have this?

You know the Ritz is "above the beach" on a cliff ABOVE the beach, right? If you look at the home page for the hotel, it's pretty obvious this isn't a beach resort in the Hawaii/Caribbean sense.

The Ritz Laguna Niguel is a gem. We loved its setting and its sweeping ocean views. Amazing service, gorgeous pools and gardens, etc.

There is a shuttle down to the beach, or a walking path. I think I remember that Ritz staff members are available at the beach for towels, etc. Not sure if there is food and beverage service at the beach.
