Kuhio shores bottom floor?

Love the looks of the Kuhio Shores Condo so we are looking at booking one on the bottom floor. Concerned about not being able to leave balcony sliding glass doors open in the evening to keep cool. Thinking it could be safety issues? Any advise would be helpful or if you have any other suggestion on nice condo's with view. Celebrating 35 anniversary so would love to have a quite place! Thanks!

for safety reasons I WOULD never leave a bottom floor door open which is why I never rent a bottom floor condo. Nice location but try for a higher floor.

I don't know a thing about this specific location but see the building on their website.

I would leave the doors open if I were there. Certainly not if I went out.

As above, why not just look for units on the higher floors?

I doubt you'll feel comfortable leaving the doors open at this location. For one thing, it is next to the Beach House Restaurant, and patrons there have the habit of walking out of the restaurant onto the lawn areas at sunset to take pictures. The lawn extends over to Kuhio Shores so I think you might have restaurant patrons walking in front of your unit.
As with any ground floor unit, I don't think it is safe to leave the doors open . But trust your own instincts. Nothing may happen, but do you want to take a risk? Up to you. The area where the condo is located seems safe enough but lots of locals snd tourists surf, swim and snorkel right in front of the units. That would be my only concern.

We stayed at Kuhio Shores but in a 3rd floor unit. I would be concerned with privacy with a ground floor unit. As for safety, not sure if I would leave the doors open, I guess rather not. At the time we were there we did not see any patrons walking to the Beach House Restaurant. Instead, the lawn around Kuhio Shores is used by the local youth to get to to the surf spot.
That means young guys carrying their surf boards walk by as well as a lot of girls who watch the guys surfing.
