Kokomo's restaurant at Mirage

Hello everyone,
Was wondering if anyone knows the dress code at Kokomo's at The Mirage. It'll be 1st week of July, so with the heat, are shorts allowed for men?

Mario,

Yeah, I was there in April, you will enjoy it. The atmosphere is really relaxing. I was there for lunch, and we just wore shorts and polos and were more then adaquetely dressed. I am not sure for dinner, but from the looks of lunch, I would assume that khaki's and a nice short sleave shirt would be more then fine. you can always call and ask when you get into town. Lunch prices were from 8-20 dollars. great place for lunch! let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you Don,
Was also wondering, would we need reservations for lunch? I made my reservations for dinner last week to dine on July 1st. And they were already near to booked up for that date.
Thanks again

Mario,

As with all restaurants and casinos in Vegas, you will find Kokomos to be adequately air-conditioned. If you're asking out of fear you'll be too hot, I assure you that you will not.

If you're asking if shorts would be appropriate, I would agree with Don that they might be more appropriate at lunch than at dinner. Certainly you will see people dressed in shorts there but you will also see people in tuxes.

A nice pair of slacks and a sport shirt would probably fit the bill nicely.

Just was there one week ago. There were no lines and it was smart/casual. slacks and a sport shirt. We also went to Emeril's and although they had no reservations when we walked over the night before, the lady made room for us during an earlier evening time 7:00 pm. But we came in person to make the reservation, I have stayed there often and We told her it was my birthday, which it was. So they have some leeway when getting a reservation. We also ate at the Eifel Tower Restaurant- It was great!

Mario,

No, we didnt need reservations at all. The Mirage was packed at that time i was there, and we walked right up around 12:30 and got a really good table.

I have been to Kokomo's for dinner but wasn't aware they were open for lunch. Did you need reservations for lunch like one would for dinner?

While the Mirage info does mention dinner and reservations, it didn't mention lunch. Is there a possibilty it's being confused with another Mirage dining establishment?
