This is my trip so far
2 adults/2 teens
in august
Fly into LA Tues PM
Spend Wed,Thur,Fri
Drive Sat to Bishop spend night
Drive Sun to Yosemite - spend 2 nights
Drive Tues to Lake Tahoe - Spend 3 nights
Drive Fri to Larrsen - spend night
Drive Sat to Falls - spend night
Drive Sun to Crater lake- spend night
Drive monday to cave junction - spend 2 nights
Drive wed to Crescent city - spend 1 or 2 nights????
drive to Eureka - spend 1 or 2 nights???
Drive to SF - Fly home tues

OK, sounds great to me.
Someday I'd give anything to do an overnight or three night rafting trip on the Rogue River out of Grant's Pass, though. If you could fit it in, would be worth looking into.
Frankly, I think I'd consider cutting out Klamath Falls now that I see your itinerary. Make the drive from Lassen to Crater Lake since you won't really have a full day to get out and do any hiking near Klamath anyway.

I agree with Neopolitan regarding Klamath Falls. You could easily drive from Lassen to Crater Lake in one day. I live east of Sacramento and own a vacation home near Bend, OR. I can make the drive in 8 hours with several stops along the way. Klamath Falls has seen better days. Better to skip it.
You might think about spending the night on the way to San Francisco at the Benbow Inn in Garberville. Cute place and in the middle of the Redwoods. The Inn sits on the Eel River. We love the area. Great walks through majestic redwood trees.
