Kiawah Island Weather

I am planning to get my brother a golf package at Kiawah Island for being the best man at my wedding. It would most likely be late November - early December. How is the weather that time of the year? Still good for outdoor activities like golf? I have no problem wearing pants and a sweater/light jacket. Just dont want to have to wear a heavy winter coat when playing golf!

Since it's the weather, there's no telling. It can be pleasant that time of year but the wind off the ocean can be cold. Prepare for that.

Go to www.wunderground.com Using the Travel and Activities dropdown menu select "Trip planner". Enter Kiawah Island and your planned dates of travel - you'll be directed to all sorts of weather data for that location including a chart showing what actual weather conditions were for every day during that period for the last 10 years.

I really doubt he'll need a winter coat , although our winters have been much colder the past 2 or 3 years, so who knows? But Fall should be warm or cool. Not cold.

Thanksgiving was definitely not cold this year.
Late Nov./early Dec. a sweater/light jacket should be fine.

Our peak golf season ends at the end of November but the weather is generally still very good (70s during the day). I've spent a number of the last Christmas days in shorts although last year was unseasonably cold fairly early in the year. I think you'll have a great round in that time frame.

We spent this past Christmas in Kiawah. We wore light long pants and were able to wear shorts and long sleeves on the beach. It was great weather
