Keystone,Copper, Vail, Breckenridge?

Hey, several friends are going to Keystone area and will ski for 5 days. My understanding is that we could ski Keystone Copper Breckenridge or Vail. We can get a really good deal on lift tickets at Copper. Should we commit to Copper for the full 5 days? Appreciate any advise! Thanks

I think you can get a pass for all the areas. Also go to City Market in Dillon for discount tickets. And look in the Summit newspaper for discounts.

i believe that one pass will cover Vail, Keystone, Breckenridge and Arapahoe Basin, but not Copper because Copper isn't owned by Vail as the others are.

5 Days at Copper might be a bit much. I'd suggest you at least try 1 day at Vail or Breck. Another fun thing to check out is the night sking at Keystone. I did it for the first time last year and had a blast. Regardless, have fun and enjoy!

Copper is a separate ticket from the others. If you're staying in Keystone, I'd get a multi-day ticket for Keystone, then take a day or two and ski Breck and Vail.

If you're spending the extra money to stay in Keystone, why save a couple bucks to ski Copper, but have to drive every day?

If you're getting a good deal and like the idea of Copper, I wouldn't worry about the drive. As long as the roads are clear, it's very quick. I agree that you might get bored with five full days at Copper. Keystone and Breck are both great, with A-Basin being a possibility if you're a bit more advanced (not a great mountain for beginners, though). Vail is more of a drive so I don't see why you'd want to do that on this trip.

I bought discount lift tix for Keystone at www.mardeis.com. The average daily price for my 4 of 6 day Keystone tix (which include days at Vail, Breck, A Basin)thru them is $43. To buy online directly from the resorts website the 4 of 6 day ticket averages $67/day. At the grocery store for the week I will be there the best I can do is $65/day.

Wow, 43 per day is a great deal? Do you know if there are any restrictions on the dates? We will be going over Christmas/New Years

No blackouts. I am going Christmas to NYE. When you call he'll ask you the first date you will be skiing. Go to their website and hit discount lift tickets. He charges $11 to priority them to you. I called Monday and they arrived at my brother's house in Denver the next day.
