Key West/November

We are planning a week in November to Key West. Looking for a reasonable rate on the water. Any suggestions? Thank You.

Connie - Unfortunately "reasonable rates" and "on the water" don't go hand in hand in Key West. The ideal place to stay is as near the Gulf as possible in Old Town, and most of those places are pretty pricey. If you'll settle for being on the Atlantic rather than the Gulf, you can get MUCH cheaper rates, but you won't be in a convenient location for sunset celebrations, restaurants and most tourist activities. Check out keywest.com for information about accommodations.

Reasonable and Key West don't go hand in hand. Consider staying on one of the other Keys.

Check with hotwire or priceline, although you won't be guaranteed waterfront. Have you considered a b&b? There are a lot of nice ones and you should have no trouble getting a decent rate in November.

I don't think there are any b&b's on the water in Key West. We have stayed at the Hyatt in the past. It is a little pricey but very nice.

To Cindy-There is not any b&b's on the water in KW. IF you go to KW staying at a b&b is the best way IMO to experience the flavor of the island.

There are 2 B&B's here that are on the water -The La Mer and The Dewey House. Both are very nice, pricey but worthit B&B's. They are located at the opposite end of the sunset side Duval, on South street.
