Anyone have any info. on the houseboat accomodations in Sunset Marina, Key West? Thanx.

If its the marina on Stock Island you are only steps away from the jail! What a view! Stock Island is the last island you drive through before getting into key west.

Ditto what SuzieQ says. The Sunset Marina is NOT on Key West, but is on Stock Island. (Go to their website and check the map). If you're interested in spending time in Old Town Key West you couldn't find a much worse location.

How long are you going for? We did a weekly rental at Lazy Lane Cottages. It doesn't have a pool, but it's a very easy walk (couple of blocks) to Duval (and far enough away that you don't get the noise). We had a one-bedroom apartment (sofa bed in the living room) with a small kitchen and a jacuzzi on a small deck. It was $750 for the week in early June 2000. Think the website is www.lazylanecottages.com.
