Key West
I am headed back to Key West in August for one week with my husband. We have been several times before and were looking for some new tips on bars, happy hours, restuarants and thing to do. We are pretty laid back and relaxed, mid30s....
Any suggestions? Haven't been there since 2008.
What about the beach at the state park?
Thanks!

Here's a great site to check out http://www,keywesting.com. They cover the bars, beaches and a lot unpublished information.
We're in Key West every year and Old Town, Duval Street in particular, is where we and most everybody hangs.

Our favorites:
Blue Heaven (breakfast, particularly)
Better Than Sex (dessert & cocktails-romantic after dinner)
Schooner Wharf Bar for a fish sandwich & live music
Hogfish Bar & Grill (HUGE & good Hogfish Sandwich) (this place is off the beaten bath--google it)

We spent an afternoon at Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park in June and enjoyed it very much. It's a low-key sort of place (no pun intended). Bring some water shoes to wear as there are rocky patches between the sandy area and the water. Also, bring some snorkel gear.
