We are a family of five, two adults and three teenage daughters. We will be in Key Largo for two days in July having spent seven nights in Bellasara in Naples. Has anyone stayed in the Ocean Pt. Suites Key Largo ? Any other suggestions? We have been to Key West before and will not travel any futher south than Islamorada as we have an early flight from Miami. Thanks

IMO I like Islamorada better than Key Largo but have never stayed in a facility to recommend. We stayed at the Best Western Suites on the marina in Key Largo and if you need space it has lots. It is clean but worn with age. However, it was orginally built for condo's so it has space. A downstairs with full kitchen and living room with pull out sofa and screened in back porch and bath. An upstairs with queen bed and bath. We walked around the marina and really liked the grounds of the Holiday Inn. Big pool, hot tub and bar. (the Best Western has a small pool) They also have the African Queen. Sorry did not see the Ocean Pt.

Sorry, that last sentence is not clear. The Holiday Inn has the African Queen, from the movie with Bogart and K. Hepburn, on their marina and they also have the row boat that was in On Golden Pond, complete with hole in the bow.

The Westin Resort in Key Largo is very nice & closer to the Miami area.
