Will be on Kauai from 7/13 through 7/27 and have heard of a new restaurant called Kauai Pasta.

Does anyone have any solid knowledge of this place? Where is it located, range of menu, etc.

Any other NEW or changed places since our last visit in 2005?

Auntiemarie, care to do a GTG at Happy Talk again? Let me know if you can make it.

Rich, here's a short review of Kauai Pasta written on 04/04/07:

Came back and went to an early dinner at Kauai Pasta. Splendid..........had carprese salad, mixed baby greens, pasta marinara and pasta with meat sauce. Then, oh then........the big O happened right there in the restaurant when we shared a milk chocolate coconut creme brulee!!!!!!! I'm not sure it was as good for the real icee as it was for me, but it put a smile on my face!! Kauai Pasta does not serve alchohol, but you can take your own wine for a $5 fee. Great food and outstanding service.

We were at the Kauai Pasta in Lihue just over a week ago. They do serve alcohol actually, but will also uncork a bottle for you. It was so good, we visited the restaurant again before we left the island and it is unheard of for us to go to the same restaurant twice in the same trip. Entrees are from $14.95 to $29.95. They do a mean alfredo chicken with pesto sauce.

Kauai Pasta has a location in Lihue and Kapaa. If you are going to the one in Kapaa, you may want to call and see if they serve. Safeway and Long's are both nearby.
