Coconuts Dining in Kauai???

Have no idea what happened to my last posting, will try again..
My husband and I will be in Kauai next month and was wondering if anyone has ate at the Coconuts restaurant believe it is in Kapaa, never made it last time there. Looking very forward to relaxing, golfing and drinking those lava flows... anyone know of the best lava flows served on the island.
Thanks for all the help..

Just returned from Kauai and had a great dinner at Coconuts. Try the seafood cigars for an appetizer. Eat on the patio.

...and the lobster raviolis....
Coconuts is about a half hour away from PVille with good traffic..located right on the main drag down the street from "The Whaling Wall".

We love the Gilligan Island-style menus.

Kal,
No lobster ravioli last week at Coconuts! What a letdown. I got over it.

Glad you asked -- just had dinner there last night with friends visiting from California.

We all ordered something different, and shared -- wasabi-crusted ahi with basil rice and sesame steamed spinach, oven-baked monchong with wasabi mashed potatoes and glazed carrots, crab-stuffed mushrooms, salad with goat cheese & glazed mac nuts, teriyaki glazed double-pork chop with garlic mashed potatoes and pineapple chutney.

And den...for dessert...creme brulee and volcano cake (chocolate cake filled with warm chocolate syrup) with raspberry sauce and vanilla bean ice cream <burp!>

Excellent service, excellent food -- still one of our favorite places for dinner. Go early though, as it can get crowded by about 6:30-7p.m.

bill-162 until lobster ravs. they better have them, too!

auntie m, The seared wasabi encrusted ahi was ONOliscious!

I think Coconuts is where I was also drinking a good "3 Thieves Zin".

Mrs Kal also reminded me of the good seafood paella, too.
