Hyatt Kauai
North Shore:
Princeville Resort
Three are no disputes on the above choices.
BTW: If you have read about rms @ the Hyatt being dowdy, they are currently renovating all rms, so that neg. should not be a factor in the near future.

I second Anthony's choices, as almost everyone will. The decision may come down to when you're going. If you'll be there during the winter, most people will recommend staying on the South shore at the Hyatt because of the weather.....there is a greater chance of rain on the North shore at the Princeville. That being said, I just stayed at the Princeville last month and didn't get any more than 15-20 minutes of rain any of the 6 days we were there. And my wife and I loved it so much that we'd definitely stay there again no matter what time of year.
