Kauai - Hyatt Resort
Hi there, My boyfriend and I will be honeymooning in Kauai this October and I'm wondering if the Hyatt is worth the huge price tag. We can't afford to stay there for our entire trip (we are planning a 10 day trip) but I thought we could "live it up" our first couple nights. Is it worth it??

Amy, type kauai AND hyatt in the text search here. Read some strings but pay special attention to number 4 which starts "Need input: Kauai Hyatt vs..."
While their honeymoon plan is not the same as yours, I think this string might provide good info for you to make a decision.

I used to live in Condos up the road from the Hyatt and then go to their spa or hang out there. I wouldn't pay the extra $$$$ if you could stay nearbay. Try http://grantham-resorts.com/

We did not stay at the Hyatt, but at the condos down the street. My daughter and son-in-law got married at Shipwreck Beach next door to the Hyatt and had many of they pictures taken on the Hyatt grounds. I must say out of all the islands I have travelled to and resorts I have seen, I do believe the Kauai Hyatt has the most beautiful resort grounds of any around.
We had a wonderful dinner in their restaurant and their spa was great too.
