kauai condo

Does anyone know of the Regency Condo at Popu Kai? It is a new condo and air conditioned which is difficult to find in Kauai. Would like to read some feedback.

Just thought I'd provide this link for the Regency Condos so you can see where they are in realtion to buildings and beach. Pretty far from the water but near the Hyatt and the Poipu Shopping center which houses Roys.

suzie-thanks for the info! I have spent so much time researching Kauai condos that have everything to please the family. I know that a/c is not available in too many units but I have been advised that the heat can ruin a trip if you're there in August.

Lois, thank you so much for the info. This is the first trip that I'm planning without a travel agent and it sounds like I made a good hotel choice. Sounds like you had a great time!

We stayed at the Sands section of Poipu Kai last August and had no A/C. We were very comfortable. I would say it even got cool some nights with the trade winds.
Regency condos, which are across the street from Sands, looked nice from the outside but have no views of the ocean and no easy beach access. And because they are further away from the ocean, they will be hotter too (so you may need that A/C there). If you don't care about the views and the proximity of the beach, they would probably do fine.
