Cali,
Last time we went to Mema's, about 2 trips ago, the food was still good but the service was very rushed.
I couldn't even sip a glass of water w/o the server filling it up again...and they brought out all the food at the same time, appies, soup and main dish...then hovered!
And there weren't that many people in the restaurant.
Funny experience. Very nice people...
Still was good food but so many other places around there now...like "Da Huki".
I REALLY miss Aussie Tim's BBQ. The best "gull darned" (I have to save that for the Bird Flu post) mac and cheese I have ever tasted. "SoWest mac/cheese" jalapenos, red/green peppers etc...Baked "crispy".
All in all, I guess my fave restaurant on Kauai is an open one!
