It seems that the Atv/mud bugs are very popular activity to do in Kauai. The 2 main choices are Kauai ATV or KIPU Ranch Adventures on the 4 hour waterfall tour. Any pros or cons on either? We will be in Kauai in July(NCL). Also, reserve in advance or "wing-it". and catch a deal in the port?

We did Kipu ATV (3hr.) to view Kipu Beach.
It was alot of fun - rough terrain, but they show you how to manuver it prior to letting you 'loose'.

I just read a report on the 4 hr. waterfall Kipu Ranch tour and it was all positive - just take mosquito spray per the poster. We didn't need it where we went.

We have done Kipu Ranch twice and would highly recommend it.

My boyfriend and I did Kipu Ranch when we were in Kauai in March. The guide was absolutely fabulous and the trip was awesome. We are going back to the island next summer and will be signing up for the excursion again.

Kipu Ranch, Kipu Ranch, Kipu Ranch. We LOVED our adventure, loved our guides, and loved our time on that land. All 6 of us said we would have done it again the next day.

Kipu Ranch ATV tour was WONDERFUL! Will do it again on our next visit to Kauai.

We will be renting a car car can we drive to this event and do it then?
