Kauai accomodation - Jasmine nights or Aloha loft / Orchid room at Hale Moi
Hello everyone!
Has anyone ever stayed in the above mentioned houses?
Orchid room and Aloha loft look very nice in the photos but they are very cheap and i'm wondering why... no reviews on tripadvisor http://www.theorchidroom.net/home.html
Jasmine nights seem very cute as well, and more expensive. No reviews as well.
http://www.theorchidroom.net/home.html
Please if anyone ever stayed there i would love to hear opinions! Also if you have anything else to suggest me... we would like to stay in the NOrth Shore.
Thanks!

It seems the main difference is Orchid and Aloha are part of a condo complex, while Jasmine is a private cottage.
If you choose the prior in Princeville, you might want to be aware that the Princeville Hotel is closing completely for a renovation - I think in the fall.
Jasmine is in a private setting so you will drive to everything, which works fine for me.
You might also concider looking in Hanalei, a wonderful town below Princeville.
Good luck!

I use vrbo all the time. Not all properties are listed there. Any rentals I've come across in hawaii have a management company overseeing their property, or owner accessible. That's important to me since I want to have someone local to call if I need an extra floor fan or some other immediate help regarding the rental.
I have had great luck. Each experience has met or surpassed my expectations. In hawaii the competition for tourist rentals is fierce, so usually what you see is what you get. The pictures and descriptions in my experience are very honest. A few years ago I stayed at Cliffs 4-207. I chose it because it was newly renovated and had an ac unit just in case. Could work in your criteria if you were getting the weekly rate.
BTW do you know that the Westin is opening soon and with some searching I'd bet you could get a great grand opening deal.
Goodluck
