Betsy-He wasn't predicting disaster. He did beleive it's a serious problem that needs to be dealt with. The comments came in an interview with an author who has written a book about the debt.
The author was much more concerned than Bob. Bob pointed out that there are many countries with higher deficits as a percentage of GDP and that are own debt is not as high as it once was on a per-capita, inflation-adjusted basis.
Actually, I thought it was one of his less interesting hours had it not been for his use of the phrase we've been discussing.

Ohio checking in here. I have heard or read the "Katie" phrase many times. I'd be fibbing if I told you that I have used it in the past week or so. I will, however try my best to get it in sometime tomorrow to check reactions.
I like going different places and hearing phrases and accents that people use. Especially the south. Any place that has Piggly Wiggly stores is alright in my book.
