Just Returned from Easton , St Michaels and Chestertown, MD
Friday and Saturday 6/7 and 6/8 were great; enjoyed Chestertown a lot. St Michaels was overcrowded with touristy (junk) antique shops and no parking. All motels and hotels were booked solid past Salisbury. Had to return early. One word of caution: don't stay at a Knights Inn unless taken there by an ambulance. See ya.

I attend school in chestertown and visit st. michael's all the time. st. michael's is a tourist attraction (and how could it not be with that scenery); however if you were planning on staying the night- you should've planned in advance. St. Michael's is small and the townspeople want it kept that way. Therefore, they aren't building any other hotels around. I don't know where you live- but plan the trip ahead of time and stay at one of the bed and breakfasts...its fabulous!
