Johnson & Wales Inn, Seekonk MA

Considering this for the nite before a flight out of PVD. Very reasonable rates and looks good on the website. Has anyone stayed here?

This Inn is run by Johnson and Wales Univ - and it is part of the students training to work here. It's a popular spot for weddings and large get togethers. There is very little nearby of interest to travelers and it is located about 20 minutes outside of the city of Providence. If you are flying out of PVD, I would stay in Warwick or Providence. Much easier and more to do...

The "Providence" airport is actually in Warwick, RI, several miles south of Providence itself, so staying in MA will put you on the opposite side of the city from the airport, many miles north.

We stayed here once when my daughter was checking out the culinary program at Johnson & Wales. It was a pretty typical chain style place (it's a Radisson, I think), though the food was outstanding! Like EmilyC said, not much around it.

For one night preflight -- I'd stay there and have dinner.

Isn't there a J&W Radisson in Warwick right across the street from the airport? Of course, the rates might be higher than the SeeKonk location. Just something to check out.

Sorry! I didn't remember that J&W had two different hotels! It WAS the one in Warwick where we stayed.
