Joe's Pub - Stand Up Comedy

Just saw Jackie Hoffman (Hairspray). She was absolutely hysterical. In fact, she sold out both shows on Nov. 20th and 27th, so they added a show for Nov. 3rd. Highly recommend. Harvey Fierstein was in the audience, and I know that next week Clark who plays Corney Collins will be there too. Make a dinner reservation and get there early!

Does anybody have any idea what this is about????

sold out both shows on Nov. 20th
and 27th, so they added a show
for Nov. 3rd

I think it may qualify as our "POST OF THE DAY".

Not to defend the oversight on the original poster, but you are an idiot if you can't figure out that if she meant Oct and not Nov on the first 2 dates, they will all fall on Sunday so it sounds like that's what happened... I hope you are not involved with detective work!

Sorry. Yes, a typo. Sold out Oct 20th and 27th. Added a third show on November 3rd. Despite my inept Monday morning typing, you should still see the show! Glad to see I FINALLY got post of the day : - )

Rather than a "typo", it appears more a lack of proof reading.

Based on some of the more interesting posts on this board, the first response was right on. People are very sloppy and it shows time and time again.

"Proofreading" hahaha - what an ass! Back to your job at the editor's desk of the Daily News!

Oh, let me go check the dictionary before I hit the "Post my reply" button.

Umm, I thought the confusion was over the fact that we have absolutely no idea where this person is performing. A city or even state might help.

Sorry, I posted this under NY, but I guess you can't see that unless you do a NY search. So, for those of you who do not know Joe's Pub, it is at the Public Theater on Lafayette St. in Manhattan. They have wonderful performances and cabaret there, at much cheaper prices than broadway if you are on a budget. The Jackie Hoffman tickets were $20. I do not have time to proof read this. Hope I didn't make any more misteaks : - )

I Spy - you take yourself WAY to seriously. No one really cares if you approve of our spelling, grammar, punctuation, typos, proof reading, topics of conversation or anything else. Now, please go skrew yerself.
