Jet Blue or Spirit Airlines

We are planning to fly from Ft. Lauderdale to NYC next week. We would like to fly on either Jet Blue or Spirit airlines but have never used either. Anyone have any experiences with either airline? Comments please. Thanks.

I have flown on Spirit Airlines with no problems at all. Flights were on time and service was fine.

I've flown Jet Blue numerous times, including this past weekend. Great airline -- can't beat the personal televisions for every passenger.

Another vote for JetBlue. Sometimes the owner and CEO is aboard regular flights just to check in with his customers.

Another vote for Jet Blue. I fly them out of JFK.

I flew Jet Blue for the first time this weekend to JFK. Flights were good, seats comfortable and free tv. I'd recommend it.

I think Spirit makes a stop in Myrtle Beach. If that's the case, fly Jet Blue. Otherwise go with whichever is cheaper.

both are very nice and I fly them both. FWIW, Jet Blue flies into JFK and Spirit to LaGuardia. That would be the deciding issue depending on the time of day, etc.

The little tvs are nice but I wouldn't make my decision based on them. LMF
