Jersey Boys obstructed view
Would obstructed view tickets mar enjoyment of the play? We are going to New York for a sort of last minute trip over 4th of July, and we can get obstructed view tickets - or should we try to see something else?
Thanks

We had seats in row ZZ that were described as obstructed. It turned out that meant the balcony obscured the upper part of the set -- which has a sort of catwalk -- and illustrated panels that hang there. It hardly mattered because the main characters spend 95 percent of their time on the stage. Absolutely try to see it.

If you're booking online, those "obstructed view" seats come up before the mezzanine, if you search for "best available".
If you can find good mezzanine seats, these are preferable to back or side seats in the orchestra for musicals...

I booked them!! Thanks for the replies. djkbooks, I did go back and try to book mezzanine tickets, but there were none available, so we will see the best we can from the back of the house! I'm very excited. We are also going to see Drowsy Chaperone-we have 3rd row mezzanine tickets for it. Thanks again for replies.
