Here's my itinerary for a long weekend in Manhattan. I know it's busy but I'm trying to be very efficient with my time. I'll come back later to see my favorites. We're staying in midtown at the Belvedere. Should I take the airtrain from the airport and then taxi the rest of the way to the hotel. Christensen,
Please repost with the location in your title. When this shows up on the main US board, "help with trip itinerary" doesn't tell us where you want help for. There are lots of people here who are glad to help, but most posters won't even open a thread without a location in the title. Good luck!

Unless you're paying for a room from the night before your arrival, it's unlikely you will have a room at 7am. If you are paying for the previous night, I wouldn't recommend a nap right away. Try to stay up as long as possible. Also, when is this for? It looks like the NY Water Taxi may not be running their hop on/off service yet according to their website.
I would not depend on getting into MOMA when it's free. The lines have been awful. Since you seem to want to pack a lot in, I don't think standing on this line is a good use of your time. The fastest way to get in is pay at 3:30 (everyone else will be waiting til 4
I think the rest looks ok. Don't know how you'll narrow down eating choices but the ones you've got listed are good. Curious about Betwixt. Do you have a pre=teen?

I read your post and I wanted to tell you stay away from PATSY'S!! awwwfullllllllll!!
Unless you really want to feel like a tourist, eat here, be rushed out in 40 minutes so the next table can sit, and have rude men serve you. When a group of frineds all decided to meet here for dinner (most of us live in the city and LI)...I do not know what we were thinking! It was really a bad experience and every chance I get to tell someone, I do. For the ridiculous amount of money we spent there, I really think they should have treated us MUCH better and not rush us out and tell us "the next party is here for this table." How RUDE!
Just go anywhwere but here and have a fabulous time!!
