Is there a hotel right in JFK?

Looking to book a flight through JFK that leaves pretty early. I was wondering if there is a hotel right on premises so that we can park the night before and get up just in time to walk to our gate? Am i dreaming or is this possible? TIA

There are no hotels on-site at JFK - the hotels listed in that link are the "airport hotels" in that they are nearby, on the way to, etc. Nothing like the Hilton at Heathrow, which is actually connected to the terminal.

I've done this on several occasions.

1. Drop off luggage at hotel w/ travel partner.
2. Drive 5min & Park at JFK long term parking
3. Take Airtrain 5min to Rental Car center
4. Take Hotel shuttle to hotel

in the morning

1. Hotel shuttle to rental car center/AirTrain
2. Take AirTrain to terminal.

While not as easy as park & walk, it's not too bad with the hotels that are right nearby to JFK. I used the Hilton Garden Inn and it was just fine - similar to their other hotels elsewhere.

The hotels are nearby - but you need to allow time for t he hotel shuttle - 15/20 minutes anyway - since you don't know how many stops it will make = plus how ever long apart they run - 15 or 30 minutes?
