Absolutely! Sure there are some fanciful B&B's for same-sex couples, but for the most part it's a family atmosphere. Don't hesitate for an instant. It's not nearly as prevalent as Provincetown or Key West.

I've been there a couple of times, and it's a charming, New England coast town - you will enjoy it alot. As Sam said - it's a family kind of place. . .

While Ogunquit is gay-friendly (hence the many websites that some up when you "surf") you'd never notice. We weekend there every year. Mostly straight married couples and families.

The Marginal Way (a walk) and Hurricane (the restaurant) are not to be missed.

We too are a straight married couple and we loved Ogunquit. It was not even until this post that I found them to be Gay friendly. I like that, as we have many friends who are gay. We walked the Marginal Way and found a Pound where we could pick our lobster and eat out on the water....hope it's still there as it was the best lobster in the world!!
