Is it possible to take a shower in Anchorage?

Our flight departs 11PM. Planning to hike that afternoon. Is there a place where we can take a shower without booking a hotel room? Thank you

YMCA or other health club? Many YMCA's allow guests, might be worth a call to see if the Anchorage Y does.

While hiking, flirt with locals on the trail and try to get one of them let you shower at her place. Have fun.

It's been a few years, but while we were in Alaska we saw..and used a couple of laundromats that also had showers. You "rented" the shower room for 10 or 15 minutes for a few$$$ You could buy the soap, shampoo, etc. The shower rooms were like small bathrooms and private. Very nice if you are a camper/hiker. Don't know if Anchorage had them or not, but check out the phone book.

Parks with swimming pools or lakes for swimming also usually have showers, as do RV parks.
