It is kind of complex, while part of me dreads the getting old bit and wondering will that "clock" will start ticking, the other part of me realizes that every day I am alive is a blessing. And darn it, I want to live to be a old gray haired woman holding everybody up who is waiting to board the airline while I look for my ticket that I somehow misplaced in my crocheting bag!

I think you miss the point. What is old? Is it physical? Is it your state of mind? It's not about a number.

Enjoy your life. Some are not as lucky.

I totally understood your point. Which is why I responded with my posting. I said that I was blessed every day I am alive...and yes, I know that you are only as old as you feel.

EVERYONE, as I told my husband should count each day as a blessing. Life should be bountiful in the small ways no matter how poor or rich you are.
