Can the book coupons be used by one married couple -- or would we each have to buy a book?

Glover, I think it is safe to assume that each individual coupon can be used by anyone, married or not - but I have been known to be wrong before.

Hawai`i-based chatroom posters have been advising that each coupon is only good for one leg.

So if someone wanted to fly from Lihu`e to Hilo (like I do), it will take _2_ coupons to make the trek _each_ way -- because of the required stop at HNL. Argh!

And in addition, the ads for the coupon books say "$58 one-way" in BIGGGGG print, then add "plus taxes and fees" in teeny-tiny print. Each ticket is actually $63.60.

Most interesting...taking 4 of these special tickets to fly myself from Lihu`e to Hilo and back, totals $256 (and I'm stuck with that last ticket, unless I purchase an additional coupon book). If I book online with Aloha it's $208; online with Hawaiian it's $206

Happy Birthday, Aloha Airlines -- I'm sticking with Hawaiian Air! 8-)

Auntie Maria is right--this coupon deal is deceptive --- those traveling from Kauai to Maui would require 2 coupons. This is not a good deal for a trip that requires a stopver in Honolulu.

In the "old days" the coupon books were very handy, only one coupon was required for any one way trip even if it included a stopover and advance reservations were not a necessity. Nowsdays it is sometimes tough to get a ticket on the exact flight you want, very frustrating for frequent travelers who fly around the state on business.
