Hi,

We are planning a trip to Japan in 6 weeks and have contacted several organizations that provide volunteer guides for visitors. There are no charges or else a very, very minimal one. There is also an expectation that the visitor will pay the guide's transportation expenses, plus admission fees and any meals.

We want to bring a small, lightweight, fairly inexpensive ($10 ± $1-$2) gift for each guide from Florida. Does anyone have some good ideas?

(We already have two gifts from Alaska ready to go. That would be an assortment of different tea bags from Alaska and a package of smoked salmon, also from Alaska.)

Well, I'm not Floridian- but maybe state keychains? Or local national park decals/stickers?

How about some type of alligator souvenir? Something uniquely Central Florida. You could run down to Kissimmee for some unusual items.

Or also maybe seashells?

Not from Florida, but we've had good bringing small souvenir photography books from our state as gifts.

Farmers markets are also a good place to search for local crafts.

I avoid glass or liquid stuff that can leak.

Japanese??? ANYTHING Disney, trust me.

Yeah, but there is a Tokyo Disneyland.
