Hi Guys

Hope you are all doing great.

Okay so here I go

@elbegewa - Thanks for the links, I have actually already been on the one and done some research on the VISA's. I will check out the other one today. Thank you so much for the help.

@RoamsAround - Firstly thank you for your honesty. It's hard to take in the 'negative'(If you don't mind me saying so) feedback with regards to something you feel so passionate about, it feels like a setback at first but I have to see it as a opportunity, this way I know what to expect and I know what I have to look out for you understand. It surely puts a different spin on things but nothing we cant handle, might maybe just delay the process but we are going to keep trying.

@SambaChula & @jamie99- I understand your point. Keep in mind I just mentioned our careers this side, did not say that was the skills we posses. I came to this forum to get honest and useful feedback so that we do not make this decision blindfolded you understand. I know it will be challenging but we are trying to stay positive and process all the information we get. Oh and yes I have done some research for the Green Card Lottery. I can only apply next year so they could maybe select us in 2019 (it is a 2 year waiting period in between) But we are definitely looking at that option as well.

@suze - We have discussed the possibility of a vacation with 2 of our other friends to make sure it is the correct move. We are looking at the funds to do that at the moment, taking into consideration the exchange rate and everything else. Thanks

@nytraveler - Thank you for your thoughts, it is a very tricky situation, we are aware of it. Luckily I would never take that chance with my future to stay in a country illegally, haha especially the USA, they are very strict about these things, especially compared to our country. It is a joke really if you think of what they get away with here. One of the reasons we wish to leave here. And yes I am aware the grass is not always greener on the other side but it is a chance we are willing to take in order to better and further our careers and lives.

@Tabernash2 - We fell in love with Evergreen the other day, so beautiful. It is exactly where we would like to end up. But we will have to take it a day at a time and see what challenges arise. We have thought of making the move to Australia first as I have family there and we believe it would be a easier and smoother way to go and then after a few years, if we still wish to do so, make the move to Colorado. So we are looking at all the options.

@halfapair - I have thought of this option for me, But to find a company that has those qualities I am looking for is another challenge on its own, but one I am pursuing day by day For my partner it is a little bit more challenging as he is a business owner and that would mean he would have to sell his business and go work for a company again, if he find a suitable company you understand. But you defiantly make a good point. Thank you.

@Melnq8 - Thanks for the positive note there, it is appreciated . I will keep that in mind also.

@elbegewa - Thanks for the info, but we have discussed it and we would rather not go to Canada, not that there is something wrong with Canada, it just would not work for us, but thank you anyway

But over all it was difficult taking all this in but surely useful information. It makes us aware of things we have not really paid much attention to. We will continue with our research and inquiries and I must say I am digging this Forum thing. It really is useful and we get way faster responses this way.

My sister lives outside of Denver. She said the number of people moving there is increasing every year. The area is growing and getting more crowded by the day. Hence, the cost of living is going way up.

However, she loves it there. There are plenty of things to do in the city of Denver as well as skiing and hiking in the mountains.

The winters can be quite snowy. Per may sister, the snow usually melts fairly quickly, within a few days.

You really need to take a few trips there to see what it is like for yourself.
