Colorado Wildfire

Why is the wildfire in Colorado referred to as the "Hayman" wildfire?
Are any parts of Summit County or the Steamboat Springs areas affected?

The Hayman fire is south of Denver, Summit County and Steamboat are Northwest of Denver. The Coal Steam fire in Glenwood Springs is actually closer (however still not really "close") The Hayman fire was named for the location where it started.

My husband has been planning a motorcycle ride in SW Colorado. Of course, I am doing lots of research on what parts of the state are affected.

One good site I found was:
www.colostate.edu/Depts/CSFS/cofires.html
