How to post so my message comes when Hawaii is searched

I just posted a message under US and Hawaii but when I do a search under US and then I type in Hawaii in forum and in topics it doesn't come up. Can anyone tell me how to get it posted so when someone types in Hawaii in forum it will show up?

You have to choose the Hawaii forum when you post it.

Too late now, unless you want to start a new thread and put a note on the first one to go to the new thread (you could add the link to the new thread) - and just let the first thread die.

The forum's text- based indexing is not instantaneous. Since you chose Hawaii when you posted, a searcher who clicks on Hawaii in the list of states will get all your Hawaii posts.

I just searched by Hawaii 'topic' and got both your "Family reunion in Hawaii - what area" posts. Also when I typed "Hawaii" in the 'search this forum' box. It is there. It just takes time.

susan - Please try it again and tell us if it works for you.

Susan already has two successful threads going on her topic for a couple of days; why would you suggest that she try yet again?

I noted the 2 threads which I found by searching.

I should have said, 'try searching for it again and see if your search function works.'
