How much will tolls cost between CT and Rockville, MD

I am driving down 95 on Thursday and I want to be prepared with enough toll money for the trip. (Too late to get an EZPass.) How much is it going to cost me?

i know it's about $6 from NYC to the end of NJ on the turnpike. I think it's another $2-3 for the Delaware Memorial Bridge. There is also another $2 toll as you go into Maryland and then of course the Baltimore tunnel which I think is $3 but it's been a while. So from NYC down it's $14 ish.

I would jump over from NJTP to I-295 at Exit 4 or 5 of the NJTP. Save a couple of dollars, but also the potential backup at the Exit 1 toll.

you can get off the njtp at 7 (route 195) and follow 195west (towards trenton) to 295 south (camden) 295 takes you to the delaware mem. bridge. from there you pick up 95 s. the del. mem br. is 3 dollars. there is a delaware toll and maryland tolls. they may be $5 combined but i am not entirely sure as i try to avoid 95 as much as possible! (i've had my easy pass for a while....)

There is no toll as you go SOUTH on the Maryland Turnpike.

As noted above, you can reduce tolls (and not take that much more time) if you head to Trenton on I-195 from I-295, then take State Hiway 31 into Trenton, then get on US Hiway 1 south (watch the signs, this can be tricky), then take I-95 through Philly. This will work **ONLY** if you avoid Philly rush hour traffic. Do *NOT* go south on I-95 into Philly between 7 am and 9 am. Listen to 1060 AM at all other times for info on jam-ups in the Philly area.

I also get off the NJT at exit 7 to save some toll, and avoid the exit 1 backup. Even without traffic it doesn't take longer. You will pass a Pilot gas station between exit 7 and 295 that usually has the best gas prices around- much better than on the pike. The station also has one of the better Wendy's around because they do a lot of business so things tend to be fresher.

The next best place for lower priced gas is at exit 2.

For those going Northbound, take 295 from the Delaware Bridge to exit 56 and then follow signs the the NJT getting on the pike at 7 north.
