I have lived in DC for almost four years and have not seen all there is to see!

The spring and the fall are the best times to come to DC. Depending on what your interests, there are so many things to do and see. The museums downtown are excellents - the American History is my favorite, the Air and Space, Natural history, modern art, etc. Then within a few blocks you have the corcoran gallery - art, the spy museum - another favorite!, etc.

If you are renting a car, you might want to take a drive to the Shenandoah valley and go wine tasting or enjoy the scenery or visit the caverns - only a 1.5 hour trip. If you are interested in seeing Mount Vernon - George Washington's home, and a fabulous view of the potomac I would recommend that. In the fall they have evening tours and a wine festival that are highly regarded.

There are so many things to see and do within DC. You can easily fill one week with many different activities. Please let me know if you need further recommendations - I would be happy to assist!

I recommend viewing the www.washingtonian.com for latest activities and restaurant reviews.
