How is Funtown/Splashtown?

I am planning a trip with the kids and like to know if anyone has been there and what they thought of it? Thank you. Mark

Last time I was there, a few yrs. ago, it was ok. typical amusement park, not sleezy though. I like the one on the ocean better.

My kids are 10 and 12 and love Funtown/Splashtown. If you have AAA you can get discounts on the tickets. We spend at least 8 hours there each time we go. I don't like rides generally, and they have an option for a bracelet to enter the park without rides as an option ... but won't allow directly into the Splashtown area (but there is seating where your kids can find you). It's the best place for preteens in Northern New England in my opinion (and we've been to them all).
