B'girl? You stay in your Honolulu hotel all the time?
It's not a REAL trip to Hawaii without seeing a bug, double rainbow, roosters, get rained on and getting bit by mosquitos.
Faina2,
I'm only afraid of tiny blonde Italians.
My size 13s can handle the other.
Bets,
Maybe we can get a "cockroachamole" recipe.

I'm not fond of roaches, but when I lived on Maui for eight months years ago, we had enormous cane spiders. I walked into a web outside our front door, and the darn thing came crawling up my dress from about knee to chest level, warp speed, before anyone could beam him up!
On my honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta, we were being shown our room by the bellman. He snapped on the bathroom light, calmly picked up a swatter, whapped a cockroach on the mirror, and went on to point out other features of the room, no worries.
I still recall the Night Gallery(?) show years ago where the earwig ate it's way into a guy's brain. Finally, after days of horrible torture, the dr. retrieved it, but sadly, had to tell the guy that it had been female.. and had laid eggs cheers, J.
