How can the weather report be so wrong?

So, Dukey, it's OK for YOU to tell the OP to "chill out" about this, but when I tell her the same I get from you a "move on" or a chill out myself. Is this a new Fodor's rule -- only Dukey is allowed to suggest that someone is obsessing when there's nothing to obsess about but Dukey is obsessing about it anyway as well as obsessing about anyone who says the same thing he says?

NeoPatrick, since you seem to actually want an answer, here it is. 1) I said the temperature report was accurate. 2) the report said it was very windy, 20 mph+ and there was just some light breeze. 3) the report said it was cloudy and there was barely a cloud in the sky.
In any event, we moved from Maui to the Big Island, there have been some cloudy moments, but no rain, and it's warm - mid-80s. I'm sitting on my balcony with a cup of coffee looking out at the golf course. The hardest decisions I'll make today are 1) pool or beach, and 2) what time to go to the driving range.
Delicious barbecued steaks (grass-fed Hawaiian cattle?) last night after happy hour and sunset at the Lava Lava Beach Club.

I never denied it - I said I hadn't heard about it, it wasn't being discussed among tourists, nor were hotel operators and others catering to tourists mentioning it or recommending tourists take precautions. I did discuss it with my friend, and today read about it in the local paper, but if I hadn't heard about it on Fodors or read the local paper, I would not have known the problem existed, even after a week here.
